In April 2012, Grecco held its annual business & networking event in the Hortus Botanicus in Amsterdam. With over 50 guests the latest developments in customer data management were discussed in an informal setting. Case studies were presented by two customers to illustrate the benefits of using Grecco’s customer data management service.

One customer, an insurance provider explained how Grecco’s customer data management services helps them to gain a better understanding of their customers. Obtaining an overall view of their customers had been complicated by multiple back-office systems and many intermediaries. In addition to this, implementing a customer data management solution is complex and can be difficult to maintain. To solve both these issues, they recommend using Grecco’s customer data management service. Grecco provides them with a rich set of customer data in a single location that can be accessed through all their existing applications. By using Grecco’s service, changes to the customer data is available through multiple back-office systems and avoids the need for major data clean-ups in legacy systems.

Another customer, within consumer products demonstrated how Grecco’s customer data management helps them to improve customer interaction. To make this possible, Grecco “Golden Records” provides them with a totally up-to-date, 360 degree view of each customer. Each record contains the best available information from internal and external sources. This rich customer data allows for more targeted marketing campaigns resulting in higher success rates and reduced costs.

In addition to the two customer case studies,  the strategic direction of Grecco was announced. Grecco will remain 100% focussed on providing customer data management as a service. This service includes the release of new features within the monthly release cycle. Finally, Grecco were excited to announce the start of operations in the USA where they are engaged with an local partner to offer their services to American customers.
